Via Genova: Water Bars - I’m Calling You Out!

Do Americans just have too much money, or what?! I would swear this is a story from The Onion. LOL

Quote from a straight-faced Diane Felicissimo of Via Genova Water Bar:

“There are so many people that are uneducated about water.”

This is the same company that offers “intimate water tastings.” Pah-leaseeee! These epicurean water companies and marketing opportunists like Ms. Felicissimo are laughing all the way to the bank!

With foolish people spending $55 a bottle, I would argue that there are so many MORE people that are uneducated about marketing and hype. Perhaps all adults in our society should go to their nearest bookstore and sit down in the children’s section for a reading of “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”

And perhaps a good rehab for our elitist society would be to visit a Third World country — to better spend our money to build them wells/water systems. That would refresh our souls, as well.

I rest my case.
